Sean Broderick Sean Ryan Broderick engages in civil litigation practice emphasizing employment law, business disputes and professional liability defense in both state and federal courts. Mr. Broderick represents private and public sector employers in a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including all forms of discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour law, arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements, unfair labor practices and issues concerning union representation.

Mr. Broderick counsels clients on electronic discovery issues and best practices involving electronic privilege document reviews using the latest web-based document review programs. In addition, Mr. Broderick has presented MCLE courses on e-discovery best practices and how to manage large scale e-discovery document reviews.

Mr. Broderick obtained his B.A. degree in Spanish literature in 1995 from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2001, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Broderick served as a Labor Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco where he counseled and provided guidance and training to University managers in interpreting and enforcing human resources policies and collective bargaining agreements with the University’s various unions. Thereafter, Mr. Broderick worked at several management-side employment litigation firms in San Francisco.

Mr. Broderick is a member of the California State Bar, all U.S. District Courts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Broderick belongs to numerous bar associations, including the American Bar Association, San Francisco Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Sacramento County Bar Association, Marin County Bar Association, American Inns of Court and California State Bar Section for Labor and Employment. He is fluent in Spanish and French.
